ARCh is a multidisciplinary studio where architecture, interior design, product design, art, craftsmanship and research come together.
Carmine Papa is a versatile architectural and spatial designer, artist, writer, and illustrator. Growing up in the culturally rich cities of Florence and Naples, Italy, he specialised in Interior Architecture with a Master’s degree in the Netherlands. He believes this profession fosters a close and attentive understanding of people’s needs within their spaces. His heritage profoundly influences his approach to architecture, which he perceives as a harmonious blend of art, history, and local culture. Committed to infusing his Italian roots into every design, Carmine ensures that each space is tailored to meet the specific requirements of his clients while creating environments that resonate with their users.
His passion for architecture and its impact inspired him to write Agora for Beginners, a book that explores the role of architecture in enhancing human experiences and fostering community culture. With his expertise, he delivers tailor-made architectural solutions characterised by elegance, harmony, and efficiency. Furthermore, his studies in the Netherlands have enabled him to master the fusion of traditional heritage with modern technology. This unique perspective allows him to blend the past with contemporary design, crafting innovative spaces that honour cultural roots while embracing the future, always mindful of creating environments at a human scale.

Maud is a Dutch designer and stylist specialising in textile, material and lighting design. With a degree in Product Design and experience in shop styling and exhibition design, she has developed a keen eye for beauty and balance, ensuring that even the smallest details do not escape her. Her strength lies in bringing colours, materials and furniture together harmoniously to enrich and enhance any design.
Working with Carmine, Maud enhances his projects with her ability to experiment with materials and colours, ensuring that each element is precisely matched. Her attention to detail and sense of balance make her a valuable addition to achieving harmony and well-being in any design, supporting the client's vision with her artistic insight.
