For this project we were commissioned to create the new visual identity for My SEA Journey, a travel agency based in South-East Asia (SEA) specialising in authentic and immersive experiences across the area.

The logo was conceived as a visual narrative where every element carries meaning and contributes to the agency’s identity. Its overall form is inspired by the Rafflesia Arnoldii, the world’s largest and rarest flower, native to the rainforests of Sumatra and Borneo, chosen for its uniqueness and striking character to reflect the rare and unforgettable journeys offered by the agency. Within this distinctive shape a layered story unfolds with a volcano and terraced rice fields that mirror the dramatic landscapes of Indonesia and the Philippines, a traditional jukung canoe that evokes the slow rhythm of island life and seafaring traditions, and the graceful Cendrawasih or Bird of Paradise that symbolises freedom beauty and once in a lifetime encounters. The composition is completed with a bespoke wave like typography that is playful and fluid and that echoes the movement of the sea and the spirit of exploration.

Our approach combined design clarity with cultural storytelling ensuring that the logo is not only visually distinctive but also deeply connected to place symbolism and identity, resulting in a mark that conveys both elegance and adventure and represents My SEA Journey worldwide.
